Production engineering for AI-built applications

From vibe-coded prototype to production-ready software.

Your AI-built application works. Is it ready for real customers? LeafnInk helps companies and agencies assess, harden and productionize apps built with Lovable, Bolt, Replit, Cursor, v0 and other AI coding tools.

Independent engineering review · Practical remediation · Clear handover

Build the app. Prove the release. Operate with confidence.

Why now

A working demo is only the starting line.

AI-assisted development accelerates the build. Production brings new responsibilities: customer-facing reliability, secure data access, maintainable code, testing, integration, release controls and ongoing operations. The right path may be hardening, targeted refactoring or selective rebuilding.

What production readiness means

Engineering confidence beyond the demo.

We examine actual customer journeys, security controls, data integrity and operational failure modes—not just whether the application looks finished.

  • Can each user access only authorized data?
  • Will important workflows survive exceptions and scale?
  • Can the team deploy, monitor and recover safely?

Outcome: a prioritized, evidence-backed decision.

Our production readiness framework

Six dimensions. One clear view of what production requires.

We assess technical risks in the context of your users, data, business workflows and release expectations.

01 / FOUNDATION

Architecture & code

Maintainability, technical debt, dependencies and data model.

02 / PROTECTION

Security & privacy

Authentication, authorization, exposed secrets, APIs and data handling.

03 / CONFIDENCE

Functional reliability

Business logic, edge cases, data integrity, automated tests and failures.

04 / CAPACITY

Performance & scale

Latency, queries, concurrency, bottlenecks and operating costs.

05 / RELEASE

Integration & deployment

External services, environments, CI/CD and release controls.

06 / OPERATIONS

Monitoring & recovery

Logging, alerting, backups, support and handover procedures.

Featured sample use case

A customer portal works in the demo. Can the agency safely launch it?

ILLUSTRATIVE SCENARIO

A realistic example of how LeafnInk would assess and address a vibe-coded application before customer handover.

The situation

A digital agency has created a customer self-service portal using Lovable, React and Supabase. Login, request tracking and dashboard views work during demonstrations. The client's launch is approaching, but the agency has no dedicated team for security testing, release engineering or production operations.

01 / ASSESS

What the review finds

  • Customer-to-customer data isolation is not fully proven
  • Critical workflows lack regression tests
  • Changes deploy without a formal release gate
  • Restore procedures and alerts are unverified
02 / HARDEN

What LeafnInk would implement

  • Role-specific access policies and negative tests
  • Automated checks for request and status workflows
  • Staging environment, CI gate and rollback plan
  • Monitoring, backup verification and runbook
03 / PROVE

What the client receives

  • Prioritized findings and remediation evidence
  • Test results linked to acceptance criteria
  • Documented release and recovery process
  • Known limitations and clear operational ownership

The intended outcome: a customer portal whose launch decision is supported by engineering evidence—not just a successful demo.

How we help

Start with clarity. Move forward with the right engineering.

Our assessment provides a decision-ready roadmap. The subsequent remediation is scoped to actual findings, business priorities and agreed acceptance criteria.

Production Readiness Assessment

Diagnose

An independent engineering review across the full application lifecycle, with prioritized findings your team can act on.

  • Architecture, code and data-model review
  • Security, privacy and access-control risks
  • Functional reliability and test coverage
  • Performance, deployment and operations
  • Severity-ranked findings with evidence
  • Harden, refactor or rebuild recommendation

Fixed-fee proposal after initial scoping

Discuss an assessment

Deliverable: readiness report, risk priorities, recommended roadmap and estimated remediation scope.

Production Hardening Sprint

Remediate

Address agreed production blockers and verify improvements through a focused, accountable engineering engagement.

  • Critical security and access-control fixes
  • Business logic and data-integrity remediation
  • Automated tests and release gates
  • Environment and deployment hardening
  • Monitoring, backup and recovery controls
  • Verification evidence and handover runbook

Fixed scope, timeline and price after assessment

Plan a hardening sprint

Scope and acceptance criteria are agreed upfront. Major feature work and deeper rebuilding are quoted separately.

Production Engineering & Modernization

Deeper refactoring, architecture redesign, integrations, scaling and selective rebuilding when hardening alone is insufficient.

Managed Production Assurance

Optional monitoring, maintenance, incident support and reliability improvements after launch under a separately agreed support model.

Every engagement includes defined deliverables, exclusions, milestones, confidentiality and intellectual-property terms. Timelines depend on application complexity and access readiness.

For software agencies

Your production engineering partner, behind the scenes or beside you.

Support AI-built application delivery without having to expand every specialist capability in-house. LeafnInk offers white-label assessments and engineering, or direct collaboration with your development team, under agreed responsibilities and client communication rules.

Agree the boundaries

Define scope, NDA, access, client ownership and the delivery model.

Assess and prioritize

Receive evidence-backed findings, a risk ranking and a realistic remediation plan.

Deliver and hand over

Complete agreed engineering work with verification and client-ready documentation.

Frequently asked questions

Good questions before production.

We scope each engagement around the actual application and its production goals.

Do you only work with Supabase?

No. We review the application’s actual platform, backend and hosting architecture. Feasibility depends on access and platform limitations.

Will you rebuild the app?

Only when evidence shows it is preferable to focused hardening or refactoring. We preserve what is sound.

How long will it take?

We confirm schedule after initial discovery. Timing depends on size, risk, code quality and access readiness.

How is pricing determined?

Assessments receive fixed-fee proposals. Remediation is quoted against agreed findings, scope and acceptance criteria.

How is our code protected?

We agree confidentiality, ownership and least-privilege access before reviewing private assets. Do not email secrets.

Can you work white-label?

Yes, subject to mutually agreed delivery, commercial and communication arrangements.
